Clinkly Launches in Miami as the City's First Real-Time Happy Hour Discovery App

Miami-based founder celebrates launch with city's first-ever happy hour event at Batch Gastropub on March 6, bringing together hundreds of locals and the city's best drink deals under one roof

MIAMI

Clinkly, a new mobile app designed to help people discover happy hour deals in real time, has officially launched in Miami. The app shows users what drink and food specials are happening near them right now, covering hundreds of venues across the city's most popular neighborhoods including Brickell, Wynwood, South Beach, Midtown, Coconut Grove, and Downtown Miami.

To mark the launch, Clinkly is hosting its inaugural happy hour event on Friday, March 6 at Batch Gastropub in Brickell (30 SW 12th Street, Miami, FL 33130). The event will bring together hundreds of locals for an evening of exclusive drink specials, music, and a first look at the app in action. Batch Gastropub, a beloved Brickell staple known for its craft cocktails and lively atmosphere, was the first Miami restaurant to partner with Clinkly and host an event with the platform.

Solving a Problem Every Miamian Knows

Miami's dining and nightlife scene is one of the most vibrant in the country, but finding current, accurate happy hour information has remained surprisingly difficult. A typical search returns outdated blog posts, closed venues, and incomplete details scattered across multiple platforms. Clinkly was built to eliminate that friction entirely.

If you've ever tried to google happy hours in Miami, you know the problem. You get a Yelp article from 2021, a blog with half the restaurants closed, and a Reddit thread. I built Clinkly because I was tired of the runaround. Open the app, see what's happening near you right now. That's it.

How Clinkly Works

When a user opens Clinkly, the app uses their location to surface happy hour deals happening nearby in real time. Each listing includes the venue's specials, pricing, schedule, and neighborhood. Users can browse by what's live right now, what's starting soon, or filter by drink type, vibe, and area. The app currently features hundreds of venues across Miami, with new listings added regularly.

Restaurant and bar owners can manage their own listings through a free venue dashboard, where they can update their specials, adjust their schedule, and see how many people are viewing their deals.

A Solo Founder With No Coding Background

Clinkly was built entirely by its founder, Kyla, who had no formal coding experience prior to the project. Using AI-assisted development tools, she designed, built, and launched the platform as a solo founder while simultaneously building relationships with Miami's restaurant and bar community.

I'm not an engineer. I'm someone who lives in Miami, got tired of overpaying for drinks, and decided to do something about it. The fact that anyone can build something like this today with the right tools and enough persistence — that's what's exciting to me.
